Darrell Ray Swan died December 5, 2020 in Wanette, Oklahoma, at the age of 58 years 7 months 13 days. Graveside services were held Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at Wanette Cemetery, entrusted to the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service. Online condolences may be made at www.wadleysfuneralservice.com.
Darrell was born April 23, 1962 in Dallas, Texas, to Leonard and Margaret (Ewing) Swan. He was raised and attended school in Mesquite, Tyler and Lake Palestine, Texas, as well as Lawton, Oklahoma.
Darrell enjoyed fishing, swimming, working on cars and anything to do with engines. He was good with his hands, and could fix anything. He loved hanging out with his friends and family, listening to music or watching TV. His favorite shows were the “Walking Dead” and “The Family Guy.” Darrell was a big Dallas Fan.
Darrell was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Swan.
Survivors include his father, Leonard Swan of Mesquite, Texas; his daughters, Monica Ball of Wanette, Okla., and Monique Corpus of Wynnewood; his sister, Debbie Rose and husband, Ernest, from Rowlett, Texas; his grandchildren, Zoey Wimberly of Wanette, Okla., and Cynthia Munoz of Wynnewood; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
